Look at My New Ring!

July 24, 2010

I ordered this last week and received it in the mail today:

I put it right on, too. What do you think? How would you feel about wearing a ring like this?

At first when I saw this I thought, “wow, I don’t know if I could wear a ring like that. I would really like to, but I don’t know if I could.” And then I sat and thought about it a little more and I said to myself, “Yes. I would wear a ring like this. Because it would be a symbol of putting on a protective armor around myself and letting myself know that I am worth something. I matter.” Good for you, Lisa! This is awesome 🙂 Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! I didn’t think I could wear it, either, and I do tend to turn the part with the writing around to the inside when I’m with the kids. It does feel like armor! I didn’t think of that. I’m waiting to see if anyone will ever ask what it says and what it means. Not sure how to answer that yet.

When someone does ask you what it says and what it means, you should definitely blog about it. I’m curious to see what happens 🙂

Not even my family have noticed it. I think I really am invisible.

😦 you’re not invisible… It’s an awesome ring that means something to you.

Have you tried the ever so subtle waiving of your hand in front of their face? I know you shouldn’t have to…

      • roseroars Says:

At this point I could shove it up their noses and they would be oblivious.

How do you feel wearing it? That’s the important thing 🙂

    Take care,

I feel pretty darn good. It’s also made of stainless steel so I can’t break it, or warp it, or twist it. I wonder of they made it that way on purpose.

That is cool. Where did you get it? Do they have others with different sayings?

I really like it. It is an affirmation, and affimations can be very powerful and help us feel strong.
